--For several days past Messrs. Wm. Wayne, Jr., and Samuel Schwartz, butchers in the Second Market, have been selling the finest beef exhibited for sixty and seventy-five cents per pound. In a few days all the butchers will be required to lower their prices, but the people will doubtless remember with among them have voluntarily reduced the price and those who have done so from compulsion.
