Confederate prisoners in Northern prisons.
Lieut. R. W. Daniel, a native of Petersburg, who resigned from the U. S. Navy at Hong Kong on hearing of the revolution, and upon reaching the United States was thrown into Fort McHenry, and subsequently into other prisons, has arrived in Petersburg. The Petersburg Express publishes the following list of Confederates confined in Northern prisons. They are in good health:At Fort McHenry--Dr. Wm H Robertson, of Petersburg, senior Surgeon of Robertson's cavalry brigade. Also, Surgeons Read, South all, Whitehead, T P Mayo of Richmond, and Michie. Dr. Michie is from Petersburg, and was attached to Robertson's brigade. Ass't Adjutant Hill, of Robertson's brigade. A C E Groghan, Aide-de-camp to Maj Gen A R Trimble. Chaplains Gilmore, Hardy, and Cannon. The Rev Peter Tinsley, formerly of Petersburg, Chaplain of the 11th Va infantry. Rev P C Morton, Chaplain of the 23d Va infantry. Rev Mr. Whitten, of the 3d Ala. The Revs. Messrs. Robinson and Murphy, and many other ministers of the Gospel, whose names were not obtained. Drs Lloyd, Rives, Secon, Read, and Harrison, and Dr. N M Read, of the C S Navy. Capt Jones. Lt Dooley, of Richmond, 1st Va regiment.
The following are charged with recruiting in the Yankee lines:
Major Armsey and Lieut. Davis. Captain Leopold, of Gen. J. E. B. Stuart's staff. Capt. Compton, of Clarke county, Va. Capt. C. was sentenced to be hung in July last, and the scaffold upon which he was to be hanged is still standing in Fort McHenry. He was respited by Lincoln two days before the time fixed for the execution. Captain C. is in very delicate health, and unless speedily released will in all probability die from the effects of his close confinement. Lieut. Brinkley, a brother of Capt. Brinkley, of Orange C. H. Dr. J. B. McKenzie, of the 2d Louisiana cavalry. Major Thomas G. Baylor, of Jefferson county, Va. Dr. Patterson, first name not recollected. Col. Powell, of the 5th Texas regiment.
Lieut. Daniel informs us that there are some 35 or 40 negroes also in Fort McHenry, all of whom were taken at Gettysburg. He says they profess an undying attachment for the South. Several times Gen. Schenck has offered to release them from the fort if they would take the oath of allegiance to the Federal Government and join the Lincoln army. They have peremptorily refused in every instance, and claim that they should be restored to their masters and homes in the South. They say they would prefer death to liberty on the terms proposed by Schenck.
In Fort Norfolk--Chas Drummond, civilian, of Norfolk city. Mr. Drummond is charged with having acted as a spy, and has been sentenced to ten years imprisonment in his present gloomy abode.

Dr. C M Morfet, brother of Maj Morfet, of Petersburg, Assistant Surgeon C S Army.--Halls from Baltimore, Md.
There are many others confined in Fort Norfolk, but they have been there some time, and informed Lt. D. that their names had been already published.
There are several, also, at Fortress Monroe, but Lt. D. was not permitted to hold any intercourse with them.
