The militia.

--Yesterday a number of citizens who had been arrested by the guard for not responding to the militia call, and sent to Castle Thunder, held a meeting in that institution, and, forming a company, elected Mr. John Boasteux Captain. They were then released, after reporting "by company" to the Governor. A batch, chiefly foreigners, arrested for the same offence, who refused to enroll themselves, are still in the prison.
