--The balance of the goods stolen from J. C. Shater's tailor shop recently, (save one bundle of cloth,) were recovered yesterday in one of the locks of the Basin Canal, opposite the city, where they had doubtless been thrown by the thieves, owing to the fact that one of their number has "p it." on his comrades, and told where the rest could be gotten.
