or the Festival of the Inauguration, a Jewish anniversary, lasting eight days, closed last evening. This festival commemorates the preservation of the national existence, the liberation of the Jews from oppression and the reconstruction and inauguration of their temple. It is celebrated by burning wax tapers, prayer's and festivity.
