--In the Mayor's Court report on Saturday was noticed the arrest of an unlawful assembly of negroes, which had been allowed to congregate at the Columbian Hotel, ‘"with the consent of the Acting Manager of the House."’ The statement was incorrect, as Mr. James Massenburg, who is the manager of the Hotel, nor any one else in the house, knew of the unlawful assembly, before the watch entered and arrested the participants in it.
