Heavy robbery

--The store of D. Epstin, corner of Locust Alley and Main street, was entered by burglars some time during Saturday night, and relieved of about six thousand dollars worth of goods. The bulk of the articles stolen consisted of boots, cloth coats, shirts and cloth. The robbers effected an entrance at the front door by means of an iron crow bar, which was found yesterday morning in the door of a neighbor. The robbery was effected after 12 o'clock. The police had no clue to the perpetrators, but were busy in search yesterday, and had an idea that they would be able to recover the goods, if not catch the thieves.
