A Cavalry Skirmish.

Mobile, Oct. 2.
--A special dispatch to the Register, dated Tupelo, to-day, says:

‘ Sixty Yankee cavalry scouts yesterday penetrated to the railroad, two miles south of Baldwin, and cut the telegraph wire. They were attacked by twenty-five of the Second Tennessee cavalry and routed, with the loss of seven killed and two prisoners. Our loss was two killed; none wounded except these two.
