--Two members of McGruder's Artillery were arrested on Franklin street yesterday, by detective officers connected with the office of the Assistant Provost Marshal of the Eastern District, for fast riding, and locked up in the guard-house — The perils environing pedestrians have much increased lately, owing to the recklessness of persons on horseback, in consequence of which the Provost guards have been specially ordered to arrest all offenders.
