Protection to British subjects

--The Mobile Tribune says a dispatch has been received there by James Magee, Esq., British Consul at Mobile, from the British Consul at New Orleans, informing him that the British ship-of-war Liffey had arrived at the mouth of the Mississippi, in order to furnish protection to English subjects in that city.
