Memphis, March 22.

--The steamer Meart from up the river, reports the enemy at Old River Lake, six miles below Tiptonville, where they are building rafts, hoping to be able to a body of infantry on the east side of the river.

The Federal gunboats shelled Island Ten again yesterday, without doing any damage. They never stay long within range of our guns.

The enemy hope to pass our batteries on the Island some foggy night.
