Death of General David Rodes.

--General David Rodes, an old and highly esteemed citizen of Lynchburg, died at his residence, on Saturday last. The deceased was a number of years clerk of the Circuit Court of this city, and in that capacity enjoyed the full confidence of all. He was a useful citizen both in public and private life, and his death although he had nearly reached his three score years and ten, will be mourned by our whole community.--Lynchburg Rep.
