--We announced yesterday, upon good authority, that a concert would be given last night, by the Torriani Amateurs, for the benefit of the First Maryland Regiment. Somehow or other, the concert did not take place. The only apology that we can make for thus misleading the public is that our motive was good, if the object was a failure.
