The Howitzer Battalion at Yorktown.

--A letter, received yesterday, says: ‘"The soldiers stationed here are all in good health, and well supplied with the necessaries of camp life.--There are only two occupants in the Howitzer Hospital. The Howitzers are favorites here. We take this opportunity of thanking the kind ladies of Richmond for the many things they send to the Hospital here. Long may they live to cheer us on to victory or to death. We expect fighting down here soon. If such be the case, we will try and do our best." ’
