‘ The light at home new bright it best
When opening
From the for it gleams
To love and and comfort all
When wearied by the of day,
And arrite for glory, gold, or famed
How swest be seek the quiet way
Where loving ling will Hap our name
Aron the light of home.

When through the dark and stormy night
The wayward wanderer homeward night
How chaerral is that twinkling light
Which through the forest gloom he splex!
It is the light of home! He feels

That loving hearts will greet him there,
And softly through his bosom steale
The joy and love that banish care
Around the light of home!

That light at home! How still and sweet
It peeps from yonder cottage-door.
The weary laborer to greet
When the rough lotis of the day are
Sad is the soul that does not know
The blessings that they beams impart--
The cheerful hopes and joys that flow
And lighten up the heaviest heart
Around the light at home!
