--We have details of Utah news to the 21st of June, at which time the Mormons were considerably exercised in respect to the Government officers. There was only an Acting Governor, who had sent in his resignation, and one Judge; and the only new appointments known to be made were those of a Postmaster and an Indian Superintendent. The arrival of each Pony Express was looked for with the greatest interest, in anticipation of the vacant offices being filled.--Emigration across the Plain, had fully set in, and parties were passing almost daily through the streets of Salt Lake City, bound for Nevada and California Breadstuffs were very cheap in the Territory, flour being sold as low as $2.50 per hundred. The weather had been intensely hot, and in consequence the crops were suffering considerably from drought Great efforts were being made to get the dam across the Jordan in working order, so that the plan of irrigating the country around by means of canals might be carried out this summer.
