Presbyterian action.

--The Danville Register learns that the Presbytery of Orange, at their recent meeting held in the town of Oxford, N. C., adopted measures looking to the organization of a Southern Presbyterian General Assembly. Resolutions were passed, inviting delegates from all the Presbyteries in the Confederate States to meet in a Convention to be held in the city of Augusta, Ga., early in December next.
