Hail Storm.

--On Monday evening last, portions of our county were visited by heavy showers of rain, with hail in this place. We learn that about three miles north of here, hall stones fell much larger than hickory nuts. There has been, however, but little or no damage to our crops by the hail, and corn looks as fine as ever known in this section.--The wheat and oat crops promise an abundant yield. Cotton also looks finely.--Fort Gaines Advertiser, 23rd.
