Boys should not throw stones.

--A negro girl, slave to Mrs. Dandridge, residing on 8th street, north of Leigh, was accidentally struck yesterday with a stone thrown by a boy passing along the street. Judging from the profuse flow of blood from the face of the girl, and her terrific screams, the wound inflicted must have been of a serious character. The practice of hurling stones at random about the streets is one that is indulged in to a great extent by the youths of this city, and accidents like the instance cited above should teach them the impropriety of indulging in such pastime.
