Arrests.

--A slave named Jack, was punished yesterday for helping himself, without authority, to a lot of beef, owned by J. Brauer, butcher, in the 1st Market.--Jno. Tyler, slave of F. W. Lewis, was detained in custody for breaking open John B. Rate's trunk, and stealing $50 worth of clothing. He will have a hearing before the Mayor this morning.
