Correspondence of the Richmond Dispatch.
another Secession Flay made by ladies.

Hanover C. H., Va.,March 18, 1861.

On Monday last we had the pleasure of witnessing a beautiful secession flag, made by some of the fair daughters of old Hanover, residing near the Court-House. The flag floats from a large tree, immediately overhanging the Central Railroad, just below the Court-House Depot. It is of white and red; with seven blue stars, six in a circle, and one in the centre, with the representation of cannon and balls to defend the stars, which shine as brightly as the noonday sun in contrast with the gloom which overhangs the Old Dominion. On one side of the flag is inscribed "Secession and Liberty," on the other "State's-Rights." Such is the true patriotism of the daughters of Virginia — such their devotion to the honor and rights of their native land. M.
