Missouri Convention.
--In the Missouri Convention, on Monday, a committee was appointed to investigate the truth of the statement contained in the Missouri Republican, that a secret conspiracy existed to force Missouri out of the Union. A minority report on Federal affairs was presented, opposing a National Convention as recommended by the majority report, and proposing a Convention of the Border States, to be held at Nashville. It recommends the Crittenden Compromise, and advises the appointment of Commissioners to the Border States to secure their cooperation in the movement. The majority report was debated, but no action had been taken when the Convention adjourned.
