North Carolina notes, we learn, find ready sale at 5 per cent discount. Those of the Miners' and Planters' Bank of Murphy sell at 20 per cent discount.
South Carolina Bank notes are still 10 per cent below par; but, as formerly stated, there are few in circulation.
