Parnell, Charles Stewart 1846-1891

Irish leader, born in Avondale, Ireland, in 1846; entered Parliament in 1975; and died in Brighton, England, Oct. 2, 1891. His father, John Henry Parnell, visited the United States in 1824 and married Delia Tudor Stewart, daughter of Admiral Charles Stewart, “Old Ironsides.”
