ἁπλοῦν. Equivalent to ἄνευ προσθέσεως ἀληθές: cp. 183 D; Phaedrus 244 A εἰ μὲν γὰρ ἦν ἁπλοῦν τὸ μανίαν κακὸν εἶναι κτλ. (“true without qualification,” Thompson); Prot. 331 C.
