[19] βρυχήσατο: 'moaned'; cf. Soph. Tr. 904 (of Deianira), βρυχᾶτο μὲν βωμοῖσι προσπιπτουσ᾽. It is used in Hom. of the death-cry of wounded men, and of the moaning of the waves.
