ἂν δὲ λέγῃ περὶ τῶν δικῶν ἃς ἀπεδιῄτησέν μου ὁ διαιτητής, καὶ φάσκῃ ὑπ᾽ ἐμοῦ ἀπαράσκευος ληφθῆναι, πρῶτον μὲν μέμνησθε ὅτι οὐκ ὀλίγος χρόνος ἐγένετο, ἐν ᾧ ἔδει παρασκευάσασθαι αὐτόν, ἀλλ᾽ ἔτη πολλά, ἔπειθ᾽ ὅτι οὗτος ἦν ὁ διώκων, ὥστε πολὺ μᾶλλον ἦν εἰκὸς ἐμὲ ὑπὸ τούτου ἀπαράσκευον ληφθῆναι ἢ τοῦτον ὑπ᾽ ἐμοῦ.
