--Frank, slave to Joseph R. Anderson, was before the Mayor yesterday to answer the charge of stealing boots from Dr. J. W. Sherrard.
Frank, on being punished by the doctor, confessed the theft, and told where he had sold them, receiving $25 in pay. He was committed to prison.
