Strong, who was fatally wounded in the attack on Fort Wagner, July 18th, is the same individual who acted in the capacity of Adjutant General for the brute Butler, and who tyrannized over the helpless women and children of New Orleans during the reign of the Beast in that down-trodden city. The now defunct General was a married man, a native of Vermont, and a regular blue-bellied Yankee in every particular.
