Property funding

Thanks to Neil Cartwright, Adam Burke and the rest of the team at the bank, for helping to make sure we were able to complete on a property funding deal within relatively tight timescales. We've not until this point, banked with The Co-Operative Bank so it's early days, but the experience so far has been good. Account opening has certainly been swifter than with other banks! Here's to a long successful working relationship.

5 days SLA for a redemption statement…

5 days SLA for a redemption statement and now 2 weeks on, and 2 requests later, complete silence. Customer service line is beyond useless, the waiting times exceed 60 minutes ALL THE TIME. Frustrating, slow and no information. Get a grip Co Op please.

50 years service from the Cooperative Bank…

We have been with the Cooperative Bank for over 50 years and we have been very satisfied with the service. We are especially pleased that we can now get through to the fraud section quickly if necessary. We also like the fact that we get a text informing us that we may be overdrawn the next day if we don't transfer funds to our current account.

Business Banking Telephone Support

Rang the business support phoneline as I had an issue with my HID app and logging in, spoke with Annila who was very helpful and patient, and resolved the issue within a matter of minutes. We've only had the account a few months but aside from a few teething problems in the setting up, we've been very happy with the Co-Operative bank. Only thing that would be nice to see is the phone app having more functionality like setting up new payee's etc as it feels a bit limited at the moment, compared to some other banking apps.

Great customer service from Annila

I spoke with Annila today, she was really helpful with my query even offering to stay on the line whilst I spoke to a colleague. She offered not only an answer to my query but also gave alternative solutions. Great customer service :)

Although I had a bit of a wait to get…

Although I had a bit of a wait to get through to customer services, my query was dealt with very efficiently and speedily. Annila was able to assist me with the on line banking log-in and walked me through the procedure. Happy to recomend Coop Bank to other users.

Had difficulty with to security token

Had difficulty with to security token, spoke to Annila who was brilliant and walked me through the complicated process of setting up the new security app, got me logged in and I was able to complete an urgent payment the same day. Thanks Annila for your help. 👍👍

Best Customer Service EVER

I had to call the Co Op Bank on behalf of my very elderly next door neighbour, who had a problem with his Debit Card. To cut a long story short, he needed a new card and the only way to order a new one was by telephone, unfortunately he is almost completely deaf, and struggles to hear particularly on the telephone. So it was with much trepidation that I called the Co Op Bank on his behalf. Luckily, I was put through to a most wonderful lady called Amanda in Customer Services. She went above and beyond to help and showed the utmost patience and kindness to my neighbour in validating his request for a new card. Amanda, if you read this review you are a STAR, you are excellent at your job and an amazing human being, thank you so much for your help.

Superb - Diane in Co-op Business Banking Support…

Diane in Co-op Business Banking Support (Manchester) has been an exceptionally helpful, patient and friendly saint whilst helping me navigate some very fiddly systems - I've been trying to do this for 6 weeks now, and she sorted it all out late this afternoon.

Very helpful when closing my business accounts…

I closed both of my business accounts today as I'm retiring. I was having issues trying to access them online due to inactivity of the accounts so I used the customer helpline. I got through after about 15 minutes and spoke to Annila. She was extremely helpful and helped me to close both accounts but also was very careful to make sure I was not being scammed, most reassuring.
Thank you Cooperative bank for looking after my business banking for the past 15 years.
