I have had no issues at home or abroad

I have had no issues at home or abroad. My penny savings are turning into pounds, and all my money is earning some interest. What could be better?

A cautionary note, I am unable to use my chase card on-board flight's, but that is not an issue with credit cards etc. I believe Monzo and similar cards are not accepted either....

Disappointed client

Attempted to transfer money to a known business….what a debacle. Unprofessional and inconsistent customer services. Spent over two hours speaking with ten different people. Had to transfer funds to Lloyds who sorted it in five minutes. Couldn’t believe I was dealing with a JP Morgan company, chaotic!! When I complained I was assured a call back on Saturday…… no call yet and it’s Monday mid afternoon . Speaks volumes

Forget conventional banking

Forget conventional banking, and banks that "value your custom" then treat you with contempt or gobledegook. Chase really do value your custom, whenever I have had a query it was dealt with as though I was the most important customer they have and was sorted within minutes

I set up a chase account but unable to…im not sure they understand easily

I set up a chase account but unable to verify it. I have had 3 passcodes supplied by chase rejected today as incorrect. I called there customer service only to have my call ended half way through security . So i called back and were assured this could be rectified easily. This invlolved scraping my original application and starting a new application and then calling back an hour later. Im not sure if the customer service rep fully understands the full meaning of the word easily.

One of the best Apps for regular banking

I have had an account with Chase for over 18 months and experienced no problems when using the App. The 1% cashback and 5% roundup functions are a nice touch although I guess they will cease being offered at some point. The Savings pots and rates are useful but unfortunately the rates are not as competitive as they once were. I have not needed to contact their Customer Services but my wife did recently in connection with her account and she was dealt with quickly, efficiently and politely - just as you would wish.

very good app only bank - cons listed but still 5 stars

Chase is a very good option for Newgen app only banking. Modular product, their mobile app is very user friendly and works seamlessly most of the time. The cashback feature is great along with saver interest rates and no lock-ins. Exchanges rates are decent and customer service is very good as well.

Here are some cons (but that doesn't take a star away), for info only
-no cash deposit possible at ATMs or post office.
- £1500 pay in required to qualify for cashback the 'next month'
-cash back limited to £15 per month (max £180 per year) after 1st year.
- No international account level transfers possible (both inward/receipts and outward)
-App doesn't show a breakdown of cashback earned per month

One of the worst banking system

They want customers to go through unwanted hassles. They asked my documents three times despite sending them they still saying my account is under review. It’s not a massive transaction but they just making an issue out of it to hold people’s money.
I won’t recommend this bank at all to anyone.
I have never faced this kind of hassle with any other banks yet.

Excellent Account and Customer Service

Have had this account for just over a year. It is great to use on holiday with good exchange rates and no charges. I also like the cashback available and I also use round up on my account. I had a query recently about a transaction that I didn't get cashback on and I contacted customer services and they replied promptly and answered my query. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Dealt with fraudulent payment perfectly…

Recently had a fraudulent payment made from my card. Chase resolved the issue, quick efficiently, minimal waiting time on the phone, card details changed immediately and could then use it without delay and the payment was reversed in 24 hours. Very impressive. Plus the app is excellent, the interest rates are great, alongside the Cashback and round ups

Travel made easy.

We have travelled all over the world and used my card without any fuss, while getting the best exchange rate. It's certainly changed my opinion on using cards abroad.

Definitely The Way To Go For Us Now

Decided to take this card out to use in Menorca instead of taking cash and withdrawing more from an ATM as we go. Very easy to apply for and put money in for going on holiday. No conversion charge and a better rate than the best euro rate at home means this is the way to go for us now. The app is top rate too and gives a very detailed description of every transaction with a map showing where it was used. I’ll be taking the Chase Saver account when I get home to save for next years holiday with interest too. Why on earth didn’t I discover this sooner.

Not very good for ATM mis-dispense issues

I have given them a 4 star instead of a 5 star mainly due to their actions about a recent ATM Cash withdrawal mis-issue.

in summary i tried to get £100 out of a Santander machine. No Money came out and there is no real process to investigate and get your money back.

I had a similar expereince with Halifax....went into branch spoke to their staffer and had the money back on the same day.

With chase they create a dispute which can then take 50 days to close. This is too long when the money is effectively stolen by the ATM operator.

Very happy with everything else and their APP is verry good.

Love Chase

Love Chase, no fees when you spend abroad, quick and easy deposits and withdrawals. Get cash back on purchases. The interest rate on savings fair. You get information sent to you as to how your accounts are doing. I would highly recommend Chase.

Love this account and recommended it to…

Love this account and recommended it to my two young adult children who also love it. Very easy to navigate, quick money transfers, good rate on savings. The 1% back each month is a great way of saving and I use the round up too which gives me an extra rainy day pot. No charges on use abroad, it's just all good!

Safe, Easy to use and great communication

The app is super easy to use and the function of having a round up saving option is a nice surprise when that top up lands in your account. The regular comms and alerts gives you a sense of security and engagement and the customer service team are super responsive

Very good so far.

Easy to open and secure. Great interest rates which I do notice. Card came quickly as well. Moving money online very smooth as is opening other spaces within the account to use for savings. Not willing to trust with debit card use yet as there is to much press about reliability but this does not concern me at the moment.

Chase is easy to use and its app is…

Chase is easy to use and its app is intuitive, so far I havent had a single problem. They keep me well informed and I havent been inundated with offers e.t.c. I like to be left alone to choose what I want to use. I would recommend to give them a try.
