This is an adorable and unique crochet pattern for cable crochet tights for 18” dolls.

Skill level: Intermediate to advance
This pattern uses mostly simple stitches with post stitches, but with the cables, working in sides of stitches and switching between rows and rounds I consider this pattern to be an intermediate to advanced pattern but I have included several diagrams and photographs to help along the way.

Designers Notes:
Tights are worked from the bottom up, working mostly in the round (joining at the end of each round and then turning), making the feet first, the heels are then worked in rows. The legs are then made working in the round, then the legs are joined. Afterwards the front and back crotch area are worked separately in rows, finally the rise is worked in the round and waistband is made by crocheting over elastic the same as you would carry yarn under your stitches.
The stitch pattern is a base of single crochet stitches with cable stiches.
Pattern is in US terminology.
