L'OREAL PARIS INFALLIBLE MEGA GLOSS

L'oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss Lip glosses - £6.99

Hello lovelies, today I have for you quite a new release from L'oreal, their new mega gloss lip glosses. Now I'm not usually one for lip glosses as I just picture hair all sticking to the lips scenes as I go out the door, no one likes a hairy lip right? Not the most appealing look to go for along with bags under the eyes from night feeds aha. But these aren't sticky at all! They leave my lips feeling hydrated, plumper and they are really pigmented, another thing I think lip glosses usually lack.

They come in three different formulas - cream, matte and dazzle so obviously I had to get one of each to try out. The matte ones obviously last a lot longer than the other two but you get a good few hours wear out of them before having to top up. The dazzle one in Disco ball is absolutely stunning, I think this will look gorgeous on top of any lipstick for a night out where you really want to stand out. The cream nude in Protest queen will most likely be more of my every day to day wear on top of a nude lipstick or even on its own, I had to layer this up a bit to get more of an opaque look but it feels so lovely on the lips then lastly the matte in Smoke me up is a gorgeous deep fuchsia pink, when I'm feeling brave I will wear this in the day with a subtle eye look or will be great for nights out as it leaves a subtle stain to the lips and will last a lot longer than the other two, who has time to keep topping up their lipstick when theres wine to be drunk or your favourite tipple?

A long with all those great qualities they have an excellent shade range for everybody's taste, the packaging is very chic I think and the applicators are amazing. They have a funny curve like shape to them which makes the great for hugging on to the lips for the perfect application and you can even turn it to get right into your cupids bow without getting in a mess! I love the shades I currently have but may have to get some more especially as boots have a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment with L'oreal make up and they retail at just £6.99 each.

Have you tried these new mega glosses yet?

LANCOME GOODY BAG AND PURCHASES

Hello lovelies, if you didn't already know by now and totally missed my last post about the Lancome event It was a lovely event where if you brought two purchases on the day you got this very generous goody bag minus the mini foundation and dream tone we got those complimentary freebies near the end. I think this a fab goody bag which if you wanted to you could pile them all in the gorgeous Jenny Packham designed Lancome bag which you could choose from blue or white but knowing I would most likely get it dirty with make-up I safely opted for the blue one. This will be so perfect for me for my holiday skin care bag or a weekend away bag and can be used for numerous amounts of things. I am so glad we got a mini Genifique I adored this from the moment Lydia applied it to my skin and the gentle cleanser it made my skin feel so soft! I think I will actually save these samples for my upcoming holiday as they are perfect sizes to last me a week and more, but I am using Genifique and the anti wrinkle cream as a night time cream currently as I just love the effect they have on my skin and you notice changes instantly. But even more exciting what did I buy to get this lovely goody bag?

I still can't believe I fell in love with a lip gloss as the last time I remember rocking lip gloss was when I was in high school but I am totally converted to the Lip lover glosses which give you up to 8 hours moisture, very pigmented and have a range of shades suited for everyone but I couldn't resist the shade I had for my make over and was in need for a new pinky nude. They are not sticky at all and I love the packaging, me and Amy said they was very James bond with the click on the side it was almost like a little gadget, a beauty gadget! So your product doesn't leak all in your handbag like most lip glosses do, what a great invention, which also just looks divine covered in swarovski crystals, do you agree?

Along with the lip lover gloss I also just had to get the Colour design infinite 24h crease-free luminous eye shadow in taupe which looked gorgeous on my eyes with the gold but I can use this shade with many looks alone or along with more shades for a nice smokey eye effect. They feel super soft, no fall out and compact in a gorgeous little pot with the Lancome rose detailing with more swarovski crystals, heaven in a pot! I will do a make over look myself with these two items and show you them with my own application, I would highly recommend these two products and sadly the eye shadows are limited edition so you need to go get them now, you really won't regret it they're absolutely stunning and I am thinking of getting a couple more before they disappear.

Lip product addict | TAG

Hello lovelies, I have seen this tag everywhere recently so had to jump on the band wagon as I am just a little bit of a lipstick addict, ok a big bit look at my collection HERE! I thought it would be rude not to join in, this was originally started by Amelia LanaEssie Button both gorgeous girls with fab blogs and YouTube channels, here is my answers...

1. Favorite balm/treatment -

For me the best lip treatment is the lip scrubs from Lush, Bubblegum has to be my favorite but I've used all that one up and currently using the Santa's lip scrub still from there Christmas stock, don't worry it's still in date they last about a year I think, even though you could make one at home you're never going to get is as good as how they do it plus it smells amazing of cola which instantly makes me think of the cola truck at Christmas, it's not Christmas in our house until the cola truck is on the tv, although I think it gets earlier every year aha. It is gritty in texture but not too intense to rip of the skin on your lips, it's just great for exfoliating them and keeping them in tip top condition, also a little tip if you want extra exfoliation, I take an old toothbrush and rub them with this on, perf!
The balm I am currently loving is the EOS balm in raspberry, it's the perfect dome shape to just rub all over your lips quickly to bring the moisture back in and it smells divine, also the colour is gorgeous this is always in my handbag for on the go fixes, for an over night lip balm I use Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream that stuff is awesome.

2. Best eye-catching red

For me it has to be the Nars Velvet matte lip pencil in Cruella, not only is this beauty eye-catching it is what converted me to be a red lipstick lover, I never thought reds suited me but this opened my eyes. It is a deep dark red that lasts all day and night! My best friend Jess borrowed this last weekend when we went to a party she partied, drank lots and ate and it didn't budge! What more could you want? Also it doesn't bleed and the pen applicator makes it super easy to apply, I got this in a set featured HERE.

3. Best luxury & drugstore -

Luxury - It's another Nars product but this baby is gorgeous it is the Nars Satin lip pencil in Lodhi, this is a jumbo lip pencil filed with vitamins and adds moisture to your lips as well as covering them in pigmented coral goodness, such a beautiful colour perfect for spring and summer. I fell in love with this as I swatched it at my nearest Nars counter and couldn't leave without it.
Drugstore - The Maybelline colour sensationals are so gorgeous, super pigmented with amazing lasting power also, this is one of my favorite bright lippys in my collection in the shade shocking coral, although to me it's more of a bright neon pink with maybe a tadge of orange infused, the packaging is lovely too.

4. Best Mac lipstick

I don't think you can go wrong with a good nude, everyone needs one in there life even you pale girls like me who worry about nudes washing out there colour, this will compliment it! It has a slight pinkness to it so it's more wearable than most other nudes (I also have a dupe for this coming up soon). This is in the shade Hue, I think one of Zoella's really old videos had this featured on there and I seen it on a lot of YouTube videos going about a couple of years ago so I thought I would go to my nearest Mac counter and swatch it, it was as gorgeous as it was seen on the video's, it has the tiniest amount of shimmer running through it but you can't tell that much once applied, it just looks like you have glossy lips and they last a good few hours, also the Mac scent hubba hubba.

5. The most disappointing

Apologies for the grubby lid, I never use this lipstick anymore so have just tossed it about I really need to give it away or something. Sorry to say Revlon your usually good at what you do but you've let me down in this department with your Revlon Colourstay Ultimate Suede lipstick in the shade high heels, the colour is beautiful a baby pink but the formula isn't so, I find it quite drying on the lips and they claim to be budge proof another false claim, the colour comes straight off after an hour or so.

6. Liner - Yes or No? -

A big fat NO on this question for me, a beauty sin of mine I am absolutely awful it looks like my son has attacked me with his crayons, I try and do it so slowly and precise and I just look like a complete clown, I watch copious amounts of YouTube videos but still haven't got the hang of it, I need a make up artist to teach me, any takers?

7. Best gloss -

I couldn't choose from these two the L'Oreal stain splashes are just lovely, they have a strange formula as they go on really wet then dry instantly on your lips to keep the colour lasting on your lips, there packaging is beautiful and I love the wand, to me it looks like a mini set of lips and makes it a lot easier to apply to your lips they also smell yummy. Then we have the Mac dazzleglass in shade dark orange, this is a sheer orange shade but can be buildable, it is not sticky at all and feels quite moisturising on your lips it has a slight shimmer and is great to put on top of a coral/orange lipstick for extra glossiness.

8. Something extra -

The Revlon lip butters and Bourjois Rouge edition Velvet matte finish lipsticks are my favorite lip products too, the lip butters are perfect for a wash of colour on your lips perfect for work and every day activities, very moisturising and come in a gorgeous array of shades for everyone's tastes. The rouge edition lipsticks are so pigmented and last all day and night, these are my go to lipsticks for a night out or if I'm going somewhere nice for the day I would recommend these both highly to you all, go get swatching in boots you wont regret it.

I tag you all!!

My Make-Up Collection - Lip products.

Hello lovelies, it has come to the end of the road on the make up collection posts, sorry. I really hope you enjoyed them and I didn't bore you all too much, I will be doing reviews on make up brushes and extra bits through out the year so look out for them, have a lovely weekend everyone!
As I have quite a lot of lip products I won't be putting too much detail into this post and will be more picture heavy so you can see what I have in my collection or it would take me ages and you probably wouldn't want to read it all anyway aha, but if you would like to know more about a certain product or brand in my collection I will be more than happy to help you with that just leave your questions in the comments below.
Lipsticks

I contain my lipsticks in an acrylic storage unit I purchased of Ebay, I am not sure of the buyer though sorry but it has a section with 12 slots, two long slots at the back and an open slot the other side that fits all my lipsticks in very snug. I am currently over flowing with my lipsticks so I need to stop buying any more at the moment really. At the bottom I just took a picture of some lipsticks I love and wear quite a lot, Revlon lip butter in Creme Brulle, I love all my Revlon lip butters as they are very hydrating and glide so lovely on the lips but this shade is just a gorgeous nude that you can wear with any outfit and any make up look. Then for a bright pop of colour that lasts for hours and stains your lips which I like as it means you don't have to keep re-applying it and this is the Maybelline Colour sensational in Shocking Coral. I have really gone of Glossy box at the minute they have just disappointed me this year big time but one product from there box that I have always loved is their lipstick in Glossy Pink it is just the perfect pink that goes with everything you can wear it to work, coffee with your girlfriends or for a night out, it lasts a good few hours and smells quite nice too. Collection Deluxe lipstick in Talullah, I love a pink lipstick in case you hadn't already realised, but this is a beautiful baby pink perfect for spring and adds a girly look to your face. Then lastly the Sleek pout paints are just amazing, they last a good while, super pigmented and handy little size to fit anywhere. Also if your friend wants in on the action it's super hygienic as she just needs to squirt the product onto her finger and dab on her lips, it feels watery at first but then dries instantly to give you the most gorgeous pop of colour on your lips, I need to add more of these to my collection because there stunning.

This is an acrylic storage from Muji where I store my lip balm I'm currently using, lip crayons, lip 'chubby sticks', high end lipsticks and my lip glosses.

Lip Balms

I have oh so many lip balms but I keep them in a cute little heart bowl and I just store in this storage what I am currently using and that is my new EOS balm which I am so happy I finally have one, I have seen them every where on peoples blogs and wanted to get my hands on one, I finally saw a bowl staring at me in Selfridges and wasn't leaving without one. I got the flavour raspberry and it smells gorgeous, it is helping my chapped lips and I just love applying it with the easy ball balm and the other lip balm is A-Derma Baume Levres Intense Repair Lip Balm, I think I got this in a beauty box of some sort, not 100% but I always use then I'm up in my beauty room and love the feel of it, it is heavy but soaks in straight away.

High End Lipsticks

I don't own that many high end lipsticks but I love my little collection, I really want to try a YSL lipstick the packaging is just stunning I need one in my life, I will get one soon. I love the texture and scents of Mac lipsticks they are packaged in sleek black bullets and last a good few hours, I am yet to try their matte finishes but love the ones I own, Chatterbox, Hue and Snob. Then I just have a couple of Clinique lipsticks which feel luxurious on the lips, hydrating and lasts a good while on your lips I have them in the shades Delovely and All heart.

Lip Glosses

My most used lipglosses are the Rimmel Apocolips, L'Oreal Stain Splashes and Mac Dazzlegoss. A lot of people have mixed views on the apocolips but I love them, they last so long on my lips, a great range of shades and super pigmented. The L'Oreal stain splashes feel so watery at first but quench your lips thirst then dry instantly and give a gorgeous glisten to your lips and come in the most pretty colours.

'Chubby Stick' Lipsticks

I love these, they are just super easy to apply and feel hydrating on the lips. I have been loving the new Revlon Matte balms, they are not drying at all. I also love the Bourjois lip sticks as they feel lovely on the lips, last for hours and I love the colour range.

Lip Crayons

I have mostly Nars lip crayons and I absolutely love them, I have reviewed the minis HERE, I then recently bought a full size one which will be being reviewed soon. The Elf lip crayon is a great budget buy and lasts a few hours and looks lovely on your lips then lastly I have a Max factor colour elixir in passionate red, a shimmery dupe for Nars Cruella and not in matte form but the colour is very similar.

Hope you liked my lip product collection

A month of lipsticks, January 30th 2013.

Hello lovelies, If you read yesterdays post you will have seen that that was my last lipstick post and swatch and today I have for you my lipstick collection with my lip glosses and some lip balms just thrown in for good measure.

So to start with the storage, My storage drawers are from Muji and my lipstick case is from Ebay! At the top I store my lipsticks and in the draws I have lip glosses, lip crayons, lip stains and lip lacquers.

To the left I have all sorts of lipstick brands
17, Glossybox, Rimmel, Elf, Sleek, L'Oreal, Maybelline, Collection, Gosh, Revlon  and Max Factor. These are all my drugstore lipsticks and I adore them all. The sleek pout paints are super pigmented and last hours. Rimmel are a fantastic brand for affordable lipsticks in all sorts of finishes and shades. 17 do some lovely lipsticks from super pigmented to super sheer they do affordable lipsticks for everyone's individual style. There all great up there apart from the 17 mirror shine lipsticks they are just to sheer for me but some people like sheer its just personal preferences.

This is just a close up of the L'Oreal Glam shine stain splash's these are very nice. They feel and look luxurious to me, they go on like water then dry like a lipstick, I really need some more of these.

Then to the right I have my more expensive lipsticks, I don't have very many as there are so many good drugstore lipsticks out there and I can't justify over £15 for a lipstick that isn't going to last very long on my lips? Although I would love to try some more higher end lipsticks such as YSL, Chanel, Tom Ford and Burberry. But here I have Mac, Clinique, Topshop, Maybelline, Yves Rocher, Rimmel, Revlon then I do have some MUA at the back. Mua do some amazing lipsticks for just ONE POUND. Ridiculous they smell sweet and the pigmentation is great. Also a Bare minerals lip gloss as it didn't fit in my lip gloss drawer. I do love my Mac lippys, who doesn't love a good Mac lipstick? There just so nice and soft on your lips, glossy and sleek packaging. I love my Revlon lip butter and need to pull my finger out and get some more shades! There are so many gorgeous shades available and they feel so hydrating on your lips. Maybelline Colour sensational wow, these are just mega pigmented and stain your lips up to hours on end, you must check these out lovelies! Especially that 910 one its just gorgeous.

Inside the drawers...

At the bottom I have my chunky lip crayons, I adore my chunky lip crayons, they feel hydrating, glossy, pigmented and such pretty colours. I have So Susan, Chit Chat, Jelly Pong, Borjouis, Revlon, Catrice and MUA. My favorite of them all are my Borjouis ones they just feel like soft butter on your lips and the colour pay of is great.

In the middle drawer I have lip glosses and lip lacquers. I have Mac, No7, Rimmel, Max Factor, Soap&Glory and Mally. My favorite from all these are my Rimmel Apocolips they are very pigmented and last for hours and come in great shades that I need to expand.

Then the top drawer I have my little lip crayons and some more lip glosses. I have Nars, Urban Decay, Bellapierre, Elf, Barry M, Benefit, Gosh, Max Factor and MUA. If you don't know this already Nars - Cruella is my absolute favorite lip crayon it lasts hours, super gorgeous red and stains your lips, it is a little drying as most matte pencils are but if you hydrate your lips with a lip balm you will be fine. Also love the Max factor one very similar to the Nars pencils but not matte and very glossy and pigmented also a lot cheaper.

Then lastly I thought I would just show you some of my lip balms, I say some as some are in handbags, at work, floating around the house and probably left on a bus or something.

Eve, Nivia, Bodyshop, Read the label, Malibu, Lacura and Beauty fixation.
There all great lip balms and do the job! I have the Maybeline Baby Lips floating around somewhere there nice aswell as the Bodyshop ones for a touch of colour with your hydration.

I love looking at peoples make up collections and storages so if you have a lipstick one please share in the comments below would love a peek!
