Thank You On Repeat with Ilina

Hi everyone!
Ilina here! Today I am sharing a clean and simple card using couple Catherine Pooler Stamp sets and of course my MISTI.
To make the card I started with a piece of Premium White card stock and using my MISTI stamped the Thank You sentiment from the Thank You Many ways set in the middle using Cummerbund, Shea Butter, It's a Girl and Midnight inks. Once stamped I trimmed the panel to 4" 5 1/4". Next I stamped a butterfly from the Take a Flight set in Midnight and die cut it. Added to the panel and adhered to a white note card.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!

You Are Always on My Mind

Hi everyone,
Ilina here! Today I have a slim line card for you using the Picket Fence Studios Wild Peony stamp set. To make the card I started with a piece of watercolor paper and die cut it using the Picket Fence Studios Slim Line Die cutting system (the smaller die from the two). Once die cut I positioned my panel and stamp in the MISTI and stamped the top image. Once that was stamped I moved it up and shifted to the right side then stamped the second image. Once stamped I embossed using Ultra Fine Clear embossing powder. Colored the images using Karin markers and then stamped the sentiment. Set the panel aside and created black slim line card base using 7" x 8 1/2" piece of card stock that I scored at 3 1/2".
Using craft foam I adhered the panel to the card base and added some gems to finish it off.

Hey There, Dumpling

 Hi everyone!

Ilina here. Today I am sharing super cute card using one of the new Catherine Pooler Designs Sets called Hey there dumpling.

To make the card I cut down a piece of white card stock A2 size and with the help of the MISTI I stamped all the dumplings in two different colors, Sand Castle and Do-Si-Do. Once I had stamped the dumplings I stamped the little faces the same way. Then the little cheeks and dots and hearts around it. Once I was satisfied with the result trimmed the panel to 4" x 5 1/4".

Stamped the sentiment on black card stock and embossed in white. Die cut a vellum heart and assembled my card.

It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas

...Or maybe not.
Hi everyone, it's Ilina and here in Georgia it's beginning to look like Fall, but I couldn't resist using the new Concord and 9th release today.
For my card today I used the new Turnabout set called Let it Snow and the sentiment from the Festive Friends set.

To make the card start by stamping the background using your MISTI and the Turnabout Jig. I used shades of blue and pale pink. Once stamped I set it aside .
Stamp sentiment in Versamark on Vellum and emboss in white. Trim to size. Die cut one of the scallop rectangles from Paradise cardstock. Adhere the vellum sentiment and trim the side.
Adhere some silver thread onto the stamped panel and adhere the sentiment panel on top using foam  tape.
Add star sequins and adhere to Paradise note card.

The Ton Group Layering

 Hi everyone!

Ilina here. Today I am sharing a card using the newest The Ton release and the Group layering sets and dies. These make stamping and die cutting images a breeze and they are made to work with the MISTI.

I personally think it's a genius idea (it's patent pending) and make lining up the layer super easy.

For my card I used 3 sets from the newest release : Berry Bits, Wildflower bits and the Winter foliage along with coordinating dies. Using my MISTI I stamped bunch of them and will save the rest for cards when I don''t have time to put together. Once stamped I die cut them all. All supplies are listed on the bottom

Cut panel 4" x 5 1/4" and die cut the peeking square window die from MFT Stamps.

Next stamped the sentiment in black. Using foam tape I adhered the window panel to piece of black card stock. Arranged and adhered the flowers and adhered to Black note card. Voila ;)

Next Ink blend Soft Brown and Cup O'Joe on piece of Dove White card stock and trim to same height as the water. Add some Embossing ink and emboss using Sand Embossing powder
Create mask for the sun and ink blend sun and sky. Stamp images, assemble and adhere to top folding note card!

Team Tuesday with Ilina

Hi everyone!
Ilina here! Today I am sharing a fun card using the new Catherine Pooler Designs set called My Kind Floral.
To make the card I started by stamping the border stamp repeatedly in my MISTI changing colors with each line. Then I skipped a border to leave space for the sentiment. Stamping with the MISTI allowed me to line those borders perfectly and have seamless transition and make it look like it's a continuous stamp.
Once done, I trimmer to size. Also I stamped the florals from the set in coordinating colors. First I die cut bunch of them from white card stock, then stamped with the help of the MISTI (I was stamping bunch at a time, so this method made it really fast. I used the negative space as a guide).
Once I decided which flowers I wanted to use I adhered them to the panel. Adhere to top folding note card and add sequins as a finishing touch!

Team Tuesday with Ilina

Hi everyone! Ilina here! Today I am taking over the blog and sharing a fun card using some Catherine Pooler Designs goodies and doing multi layered stamping using same images, as well as embossing. I started with watercolor paper panel and secured it in my MISTI. I arranged the large snowflakes on the door of the MISTI, sprayed the paper with water (so I achieve bleeding effect) and stamped with Pink Champagne ink few times. I dried the panel using heat tool and put it back in the MISTI. Now, I stamped the same snowflakes (didn't remove them from my MISTI) in Sangria. Repeated few times. Once dry, I stamped again with Versamark and embossed in Wanderlust embossing powder. Stamped again in Sangria and spritzed with water to get some more bleeding. Next I used one of the smaller snowflakes and while the paper was still wet I stamped them in Hot Tub and Orange peel. Dried the panel and stamped again. Stamped the smallest snowflake in Sangria and Pink Champagne. Once done, I put it back in the MISTI and stamped the snowflakes again in Versamark and embossed with Clear embossing powder. Trimmed the panel down to 4" x 5 1/4" and set it aside. Stamp sentiment in Versamark on Vellum and emboss in white. Trim to size. Wrap around panel and adhere the ends on the back. Add Cincinnati sequins and adhere to white note card and you are done ;)

Team Tuesday with Ilina: Quick and Easy mass producing

Hi everyone!
Ilina here taking over the My Sweet Petunia blog for a Team Tuesday. Today I am sharing a quick video and how quickly is to mass produce cards using your MISTI.
I am using the new Hero Arts Color Layering Moth and I am stamping punch of them directly onto already die cut white card stock and playing with few fun color combinations. I made only 4 cards and saved the rest of the images I stamped for future use.
My moto is: when you have your MISTI out why not stamp bunch when everything is already lined up.

Watch the video below to see how this cards came to be!

Team Tuesday: Hugs with Ilina

Hi everyone,
Ilina here today taking over the blog for another Team Tuesday.
For today's card I used bunch of The Stamp Market goodies and of course my MISTI! To make the card I started by stamping the Diamond Tile Background using Silver Lake Altenew ink, once stamped I trimmed my panel down to 4" x 5 1/4" and set it aside.
Next using my MISTI I Stamped the layered poppies and the leaves and cut them out using the coordinating dies.
I die cut the HUGS sentiment and then stamped HUGS in black using the MISTI.
Once I had all the elements I arranged and adhered to the panel stamped previously. Using fun foam I adhered the panel onto top folding Pitch Black note card and added few black Nuvo drops.

Team Tuesday with Ilina

Hi everyone,
Ilina here! Today I am sharing couple cards I made using this mont's Build-A-Flower set and dies from Altenew called Snapdragon.
Instead of the traditional ink layering I decided to add little twist and add more watercolor effect to it. I was mass producing, so used several MISTI tools, one for each layer. But you can use one MISTI.
I used watercolor paper and sprayed it with water to get somewhat glossy look and stamped the first layer, I quickly heat set it a bit, and while not completely dry, I inked the second layer, misted the stamp this time and then stamped on the watercolor paper.
Then for the third layer, I made sure my watercolor paper was completely dry and stamped the darkest ink, then on top I stamped Versamark and used clear embossing powder to emboss. Once done, I die cut the images and assembled my cards.

Team Tuesday with Ilina

Hi eveyone!
Ilina here today taking over the My Sweet Petunia blog. Today I am sharing a card using some Picket Fence Studios goodies.
I started with a pre-made alcohol ink background on Yupo paper. I masked the edges where the white space was and stamped the background using my MISTI, once stamped I applied gold embossing powder, removed the particles from around the creases of the background and heat set it.
Stamped the image in Versamark and embossed in gold, then colored and trimmed it.
Stamped the sentiment on Vellum, and again embossed in gold, then trimmed to size and added on my card.
I assembled my card onto white top folding note card.

Team Tuesday with Ilina: Sew Happy

Hi everyone,
Ilina here today taking over My Sweet Petunia blog for another Team Tuesday.
Today I am sharing two cards using one of the new Concord and 9th Turnabout stamps called Stitched Turabout along with the new Turnabout Jig which makes using the Turnabout stamps a breeze and you don't need to create your own jigs.
To make the card I started by lining up only the center part of the stamp on the guide provided and the jig, lined it up in my MISTI and picked it up with the lid. I used few different colors to stamp. I wanted to make more elegant card, but at the same time I wanted one more cheerful. So ended up with two cards ;) Trust me, these turnabout stamps are addictive once you have them already set them up in your MISTI and so easy to mass produce!
For my first card I used Twilight, Party Dress, It's a Girl and Versamark which then I embossed with Silver Embossing powder. For the second one I used: Tiki Torch, Aquatini, Lime Rickey and Party Dress, then stamped the sentiment in Black!
If you haven't tried this turnabout stamps and the MISTI I hope you'll give it a go ;)
