Happy Birthday, Juan!

Just a quick and short post for the most adorable boy  I  know.   Happy happy birthday, Juan!    May all your wishes come true.  Juan is the youngest son of  Joy and John.  He brings happiness to the family and  his mom's daily vitamins that  gives energy.

Thank you for  this  clay art.  I really do appreciate creating a clay  image of me!  I wish I could keep it and put them in a glass box  as  souvenir!   He's  quite the entertainer of the group and keeps us happy,  or should I say all the punch lines and jokes  he delivered were funny and sometimes  sweet.

Random funny photos I dug out from  my album!

Another Blissful Year

My day started at exactly 6:14 as I woke up with a text coming from a thousand miles.    The greetings made me feel  extra special to think that someone remembers my birthday despite the time difference and distance.  The next  few hours were hectic for me, tending to my children who happened to have  school events that day.  I sent my younger daughter to school, picked her up and cooked  in between. By 10 o'clock,  I hurried myself  to my older daughter's school for first quarter Parent Teacher Conference. I  left  my phone at  home and when I came back I already have several missed calls coming from my friends who texted me they're  coming for my birthday. I was touched by their plan but I told them I haven't prepared  and only cooked caldereta  using a kilo and half  pork from the fridge.  I didn't expect they're coming.  Joy  came with a red ribbon cake coming from Jes, the  Texas Girl aherm Arkansas. Our dear friend Jes is  from Arkansas and not  from Texas. Teehee.  You are  the bestest  for all the effort  you exerted, seriously!   Thank you so  much guys for coming,  Jing, Beds and Lyn also for the food.  Thank  you Joy for the red wine and your helpful advice to take a shot  before hitting the sack.    I hope we're complete in  the next event.  Jes, of course is on the other side of the planet   but  it could be possible online only  if she's not sleeping at 6am when we placed a  video call.

If you think that I look thin here,  don't be deceived for I shrunk and hid myself in between these awesome ladies.

I thought my day would be a simple one but you just made it extra special.

I couldn't imagine how the food became adequate.  I wasn't  prepared at all.   I promise to cook more  next time,  hopefully  for the next birthdays or  whatever  event we could make for another get together party. These ladies left the table at mess.  Teehee.  Kidding.  These were taken for photo ops only.  Do I sound defensive here?  Lol.  I am afraid these ladies  lose  their  poise and style once this  photo spreads out  in world wide web.  Haha.  Anyways,  your identities are safe with me,  covered with the packed left overs.  Lol.

Thank you guys  for coming despite my advisory  of  a  "No Parking"  zone  area in our community.  You all  made your own way  somewhere in between the corner of  crowded parked cars.

Thank you all who greeted on my birthday.

Thank God  for another blissful  year of my  life.

A Red Suprise for Joy!

This  is a long overdue post,  nevertheless the surprise birthday celebration  was done on the exact date   of  her  big day!  I was busy that day, and still is, and still  cramming every now and then  but  I made it  a point to see her and give her my warmest greeting.  The joyful mom, Joy,  is  now on her 3_th,  almost in her fortieth, as if  I'm making it too hard to guess.   It doesn't show right?  Now,  I am looking forward and  excited  for  that  day,  when she celebrates with us the fortyish life. Hurray!

Yes,  Beyonce was there too. She  was the  guest performer and  entertained us with her greatest hits.  We all  agreed to wear something red that day.  We're done with  different themes, (click the label "party"  on the sidebar)  White Baby Shower, Party Pink Baby Shower, Green Jenny,  Honey and Beds,  Red Christmas, Pink Pink Magaline, Pajama Send off,  Yellow Anniversary &  Jing's Casual Dress. Did I miss one?

What's behind the big smiles and chocolate cake?  It is rated SPG! lol.

(Grab this photo from Jenny of joyfulifeofjen.blogspot.com  )

Less word.  Let my photos speak.  To Joy, I wish you all the best in life!
Happy  Happy Birthday my dear friend.  You truly bring so much  joy  to all of us!

The Pink Magaline Pink Party!

The owner and author of  Pink Magaline, Jingke,  just turned 32  and we celebrated the big day  in pink.  She is a  beauty,  lifestyle and fashion blogger  by heart  and  loves this craft besides  being a busy mother,  wife,   student,  and  friend.

Friendship survives even across the seas. Seas talaga? So many, so far,  but she could always be reached.  Jes was present, as always, all the time and she came  in  pink too.

The early bird catches the Popcorn Maker!   No one could   beat her.  She was the earliest at  Jingke's place about  lunch time and the party was set to start by 3pm.   Honey,  you already.  Haha.   Can we set now for another party?  How about a Popcorn Party.

Less words. Let my photos speak for this post.

HAPPY  BIRTHDAY  JINGKE!

Green Party for Beds, Honey and Jenny!

It must be the greenest birthday ever! I wasn't prepared that day and got an old green tops,   my favorite color but none of the shirts fit me.  I arrived  in Honey's place just on time and  here are the ladies who celebrated birthdays in one.

We just can't stop laughing and you can hear those laughter even in the photos, see..

Two thumbs!  Food, food.  If  I could  just take it all out and bring home for a week meal, I will.  I will never get tired eating the same viand with this one. Super like!

here's another strike!

 It's a 3-in-1 party!
Happy Birthday Beds, Honey and Jenny!

Nostalgia #71: A Thank You Post for a Birthday Post!

My entry this week will be as short as Thank You. Because I am giving enough exposure to this lady, (kidding aside) I will finish this entry no less than a hundred words. Please remember that you found a true Ate in this world, we call online and real too, who will always understand you and will always be here to give you a good advice. This might be a little late and brief, but it is always better to be late that never blog about it at all. Please head over now to this post. and see what I've been talking about. Never mind about the photos. The link will be posted here only for a week to keep the identity of this blog. ^-^

This one’s for you Jing!

This is a copy of an article tagged and labeled  as "birthday", "party"posted at  www.I-Embrace-Life.com  September 22, 2011

Not quite long ago, when I met this gorgeous lady. It was in Serendra during MUD Make up lesson. I knew that she's a happy person even in our first meeting. Her smile brings a positive view to everyone. She's soft spoken and her cheerful attitude makes a happy spirit around. We've been together for many events and every meeting is a surprise for me discovering more of her personality. So, without further ado, let me say Happy Birthday and thank you for a hearty lunch. I read in your update how you wished to blow your cake in time for Mama Mary's birthday. Just another granted wish on your birthday! Though a little bit late with my post, I know that it doesn't really matter at all now. I totally caught off guard by many events and find no time updating my personal blogs. I know that your life begins moment has just started, so welcome to the community. ^-^ This is the time of being youth in our middle age. Happy 40th Birthday Girl! Just another big milestone in your life! I made a collage for you. I am not sure though if you will like it. My computer was in bad condition during the time I was making this collage. And even if my PC works efficiently, I doubt if I can make a better one. (a good excuse, right?) Here are some of the photos that I have captured that day. It is a always an SOP to take a photo first before you feasted on the the food no matter how hungry you are. For once it reaches your colon, it can never be taken out again for food photography. ^-^ The camera addict! I didn't know there were some ladies behind. Now, tell me who of forty-ish lady you know who can make a pose like this. Jing actually taught me how to project like this in front of the camera. Photos of us minus Lyn and Beds who were running straight from the airport just to make it for the celebration. The lady beside Jenny (to the left) represents Jes who's not around for the celebration. Kidding aside!
Another photo of us minus Joy who captured this moment.
A photo shoot was going on during the celebration. Foods were taken only as props here. Of course, I am kidding again. It was such a burpy meal! They just can't say goodbye even if they see each other almost every week in an event. Their husbands must be protesting and jealous over this bonding moment. In the middle of our lunch, some of the staff from Superbowl came to us and sang a birthday song, with a scoop of ice cream designed around with our names in happy birthday greetings. Thank you so much Jing for sharing us your birthday moment for September celebrants, me and Lyn.
Foods we feasted at Superbowl!
So you think it ended there? Nope, there's more! We continued the celebration at Slimmers World. At first I thought we're going to work out and take the calories we have injected out of our system. I didn't know that Slimmers World is also a clinic for those who need a relaxing day for spa, massage and facial treatment. We actually had a Diamond Peel and a Facial Treatment that day. Treatment was given to us courtesy of Jing's sister who works as a Beauty Consultant at the clinic. We're truly pampered that day!
Di kinaya ng camera ang tawa ni Joy! Did you hear it? The clarity of the photo made it with laughter sound. I should have captured the video instead.
It was such a great bonding moment. We all had a great time at Slimmers World. I will make a much deserving separate post about it. Jing is a Columnist who writes for ESportS-Daily-News under Showbiz Entertainment and Miscellaneous Section daily. Please catch her everyday write up to know more of the latest update.

This is just a token but of course it is always the thoughts that count the most.
