Here is a recent Birthday Calendar Rolodex that I made for a Cape Cod inspired color combination in Night of Navy, Soft Suede, So Saffron, and Marina Mist. These Rolodexes are the perfect way to keep birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations organized along with the name, address, telephone number and e-mail of the recipient. And it's so pretty that you can keep it out on your table, desk or counter top to be a constant reminder for upcoming celebrations!

Blackberry Indigo Watercolor - Perfect Blend
What is your favorite stamp set in the current Stampin' Up! catalog? I think I've mentioned it before, but Perfect Blend is mine! This sweet little set is inexpensive, has this sketchy coffee cup image along with two great sentiment stamps and is so fun to paper piece and color.
For this card using Perfect Blend stamp set, I stamped and Heat Embossed the cups on Watercolor Paper and then flooded them with watercolor in Blackberry Bliss and Island Indigo. I used the Aquapainter with a lot of water and wet paper, lifting color from ink pressed onto a stamp case for a pallet. Then I stamped and Heat Embossed the lids onto Naturals Ivory cardstock, cut everything out and layered the pieces onto a Big Shot Embossed piece of Blushing Bride cardstock. Of course, the 'coffee & friends' sentiment was the perfect one for this card and I tied it onto the Chevron Ribbon with a piece of Early Espresso Baker's Twine.
This card was one of my swaps for a Favorite Stamp Set swap at a recent Excite & Unite Event Stampin' Up! event in Littleton recently. What a great group of ladies and a fun day talking stamps, Stampin' Up! and of course - swaps!

Happy Hannukah from Stampin' Up!
The Happy Hanukkah stamp and sentiment is so completely gorgeous! This image is offered as a single stamp in the new Holiday Catalog from Stampin' Up! I stamped it in Memento Black ink and then went over the swirls and curls and lines with a few Blendabilities markers. The Happy Hanukkah sentiment is added as a layered banner with some tiny Silver Brads and tied off with a long bow of Silver Ribbon.

Partridge & Pears Swap Card
Partridge & Pears stamp set is one of the stamp sets in the Holiday Catalog from Stampin' Up! that immediately caught my eye. I have been coloring these leaves and pears and that partridge all week! I used Sahara Sand on this partridge - do you think that is the 'correct' color for him? Or maybe bolder, brighter colors would be more appropriate for this Christmas bird.
With Gold Heat Embossing and a few swipes of Gold Encore Ink and Gold Heat Embossing on the sentiment I thought this card didn't need a lot in the way of embellishments. These sweet little buttons are from the Holiday Catalog, Nordic Designer Buttons.

Shaker Cards with the August Paper Pumpkin
Here are some Shaker Cards I made with the August Paper Pumpkin from Stampin' Up! These monthly kits come complete with project instruction and all the supplies, excluding adhesive and scissors, to create awesome cards and 3-d items. All of the design, color, measuring and cutting has been done for you. The August kit included materials to make several small and large cards with die cut pieces, banner strips, envelopes, an adorable stamp set, a Hello Honey Ink cube and sequins, brads, linen thread and glue dots and dimensionals, too!
Each month a fully designed project kit arrives in a delightful box filled with stamps, ink, and paper—everything cut and ready to go so you can skip to the fun. Just think of it as creativity in a box. Paper Pumpkin subscriptions are $19.95/per month, however new subscribers can use the promotion code HALFOFF2 to receive the first two months for 1/2 off! But this 1/2 off offer is only until September 10th!
Here are the envelopes I made for these Shaker Cards. The fun colors and patterns came with the kit, including the circle die cuts, Silver Brads and Linen Thread.
To make the Shaker Cards, I simply adhered a piece of Window Sheet to the back of the 'Smile' die cut pieces. Then I added a foam edging around the entire word, or in the case of the smaller cards I added this edging around the die cut hearts and stars. I used the edge pieces of our Stampin' Dimensionals to create my foam edging as well as the Foam Shaker Rings. Then I put some tiny beads (the smaller cards) or gold and pink sequins (the larger cards) inside the foam edging, removed the backing and adhered the piece to the pre-printed card bases.

Santa & Co Mini Cards & Circle Thinlets Box
I love playing with the Visions of Santa stamp set and as I said before, I can't color one of these whimsical Santas without laughing to myself. He's so cute in his pajamas doing his silly dance. I made the 4 different Santa images into sweet 3 x 3 mini cards, each with its own Nice, Naughty or Fabulous tag.
Becky Cowley shared an adorable Circle Thinlets Box last year and I used her easy instructions to create this Visions of Santa box. I added the label die cut from the Circle Thinlets die to the box front with Stampin' Dimensionals under the bottom half of the label. This created a latch for the top flap of the box to tuck into to stay closed.
