This Pride month, we gathered with comedy fans and special guests from local nonprofits, including GLAAD, Comedy Gives Back, and The Trevor Project for a special screening of Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution, the first feature-length documentary to explore the history of queer stand-up comedy. Director Page Hurwitz, emcee Dave Holmes, and several of the documentary’s subjects hosted along with special standup performances from Robin Tran and Solomon Georgio. The event was part of our Egyptian Theatre screening series, Hollywood Pride: Queer Lives on the Silver Screen, showcasing films across nearly a century of Hollywood filmmaking, charting the progression of queer representation in movies. https://lnkd.in/gcsadvHT

Under Paris a.k.a Shark de triomphe!

Geachte Edele Lezer, Houd uw waaiers en hoeden vast, want er is opwindend nieuws in de wereld van de ton! De recente campagne voor de geliefde serie Bridgerton, in samenwerking met het prestigieuze ELLE Magazine, schittert met niemand minder dan de charmante Nicola Coughlan op de cover, terwijl Claudia Jessie en Hannah Dodd de digitale covers sieren. Deze campagne heeft een ware storm veroorzaakt, met haar invloed die zich uitstrekt over Nederland, België, Zweden, Tsjechië, Polen, Roemenië en zelfs verder. Om dit te vieren, reisden Hannah Dodd & Claudia Jessie op zaterdag 8 juni naar Den Haag en schitterden zij op het evenement van het jaar met hun aanwezigheid. Anke de Jong, hoofdredacteur van ELLE Nederland, leidde een Q&A-sessie waarin de betoverende fotoshoot voor ELLE Magazine en de meeslepende show die harten veroverd heeft, werden besproken. Tot verbazing van fans en influencers ontvouwde zich een exclusieve première van aflevering 5, wat de ruimte vulde met spanning en opwinding. En zo kwam een onvergetelijke dag vol glamour en inspiratie ten einde. Hannah Dodd en Claudia Jessie hebben niet alleen het evenement, maar ook de harten van hun fans veroverd.
