381 people decided to accelerate their personal and professional development today, and it gives me goosebumps on how they did it. The Pavilion GTM Leadership Accelerator started with it's first sessions today and this is the largest group we ever had the opportunity to accompany on their path from managers into the Executive suite. It's not only scary to walk that path consciously. But opening up, coming off mute and trusting the group with our vulnerabilities. Here is what we learned: 1️⃣ An Executive can be a lot of things: Setting the vision, leading the mindset, translating strategy into execution, hiring the right people (which are even smarter than myself), managing up and down,... Well, maybe everyone can be an Executive with the specific mindset of owning your domain, managing your mandate and using resources to deliver the highest desired outcomes. 2️⃣ It starts with yourself: Self awareness and self reflection are deciding factors for our personal development. Understanding our strength and weaknesses in order to amplify our own unique self drives the biggest impact. 3️⃣ It's inward and outward: Once we understand ourselves and are able to structure our own path (inward) comes the team around you.
