【ASN Angels Arena】 We are thrilled to announce the return of ASN Angels Arena for its second edition and JSIP is proud to be an event partner! Last year's event was a huge success, with nearly 100 participants, 10 startups pitching, over 10 angel investors "reverse pitching," and more than 25 angels joining us. ASN also raised more than $4,000 for Beyond Social Services. Now, we're inviting startup founders and your network to submit their pitch deck by August 25th for a chance to be one of the 10 teams selected to pitch at Angels Arena in September 2024. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to showcase your idea to leading angel investors! Submit your pitch deck at https://lnkd.in/eAVZa2EN now.

[JSIP REVERSE PITCH 2023] Have you ever seen a Japanese company openly sharing their pains/problems in the public (in English) and startups/VCs asking tough questions, live? We probably know your answer and well, that is in a nutshell what we did in our 2nd edition of JSIP REVERSE PITCH last Wednesday. 4 leading Japanese companies ( Murata, Asia Digital Lab (OBAYASHI), Ricoh Singapore Pte Ltd and Sumitomo Corp) shared their needs and opportunities and the program received in total more than 200 registrations (sorry for declining many registrations due to the venue capacity). It was hosted both offline and online to accept registrations from multiple countries. DBJ Capital , Tokyo Stock Exchange, GVA Law Global and Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp. also shared their investment strategies and initiatives relevant to Southeast Asia startups interested in entering the Japanese market. The EventHub platform allowed participants to easily grasp who is joining and to directly communicate online before and even after the pitch day, enabling a new way of relationship building (it's still open!). After the pitch, we enjoyed a warm and chill networking drink with many founders and venture capitalists at the relaxing lounge of WeWork 21 Collyer Quay. A big shoutout to the supportive Co-hosts ( JETRO Singapore - Accelerate Innovation with Japan -, Enterprise Singapore, WeWork and EventHub) and Japan Southeast Asia Innovation Platform (JSIP) team members who committed to deliver this and also to LESS & CO who made a brilliant JSIP BEER for us! It was great to see the teamwork although we are all super busy and belonging to different organisations! If you have joined or registered for the event and haven't submitted your collaboration proposal / meeting request, remember to do so by 20th Sep! Use this form to initiate it: https://lnkd.in/g_TYcdQz We will be hosting this again next year, so if you're a startup or a VC with interest in the Japanese ecosystem, do join us!
