    🆕 Have you seen the recent Gallup State of the Workplace Report? It had some startling findings about the state of employee engagement globally. Only 23% of the world's workforce were found to be actively engaged in their workplace. The engagement level of employees was directly related to the positive or negative experiences they had at work. The more positive the experience, the more engaged they were found to be. At the workplace, there is a lot that goes into making a positive experience. It is the responsibility of businesses to create better experiences for employees at work- be it physical, mental, and digital. Yes, digital. How work happens has undergone a lot of transformation within a short period, the changes have only quickened since the pandemic. For knowledge workers, work has come to revolve around apps- there is an app for almost every activity they do. Moreover, they will have to log into these applications multiple times during their work time and do their work effectively. Logging into multiple apps, multiple times over an extended period, adds to the prevailing stressful setup of the workplace. It might not seem like much, but try remembering distinct passwords for over 20 application accounts. This is why every workplace must have Single Sign-On (SSO). Once setup, SSO gives your employees the key to access all their designated work applications with one single set of secure credentials. And usually SSO is very easy to setup and can be enabled even for the custom applications and on-premises applications that your businesses use. But most of the workplaces do not have org-wide SSO. While giving a better login experience by doing away multiple passwords might not solve all the employee engagement problems- it is surely a step in the right direction towards creating a better workplace. There are other benefits to having SSO too, for instance when coupled with a good multi-factor authentication (MFA) app, it increases the security of your work accounts. SSO can also be extended to the devices- laptops, desktops and WiFi networks. So, give your employees the gift of SSO, they will benefit from a simpler, stress-free and positive login experience and you can benefit from a more engaged workforce.
