Development shouldn't be boring! Our team at Repco demonstrates innovation doesn't have to start from scratch. Well Done Ross Kusters and the team!
Sometimes you really need to up your game as a leader. That includes making sure we change the way we develop and build skills in our team. As a large retailer, Repco has a myriad of systems and processes designed to support our customer. Despite extensive training of our teams on these tools, sometimes working out which tool or solution is the best can be daunting. This year at conference we played a game, Cards For Maximum Impact, a business game for committed people. Our business isn’t boring, so we did away with boring traditional teaching methods, instead engaging teams in a game to determine between them, what the right tools are. You might be familiar with the concept, after all, imitation is the best source of flattery! It’s fantastic to now see our teams engaging with their teams differently to build skills and knowledge!
