Moots Gristle @ Cycle Picnic

A rather nice custom Moots Gristle shot at the Cycle Picnic in Osaka a few weeks ago. The Gristle was originally marketed as a "69er" MTB, meaning a 26" wheel in the rear with a 29" wheel up front. Nakahara-san, the owner of this bike has built it up as a 700c road bike with some very choice parts...

Fizik saddle on top of a USE post...

Rotor cranks with Pub Pedals over the Crank Brothers Egg Beaters...

Shimano XTR mechs...

Controlled by Gevenalle shifters on a set of Thomson bars and a Thomson stem...

All rolling on Enve rims laced to Chris King hubs with a One by Esu carbon fork...

A serious bit of custom bike porn, a big thank you to Nakahara-san for taking the time to show it off to us and for the test ride!
