According to her drag mother Anji Xtravaganza, Venus Xtravaganza was found strangled and stuffed under the bed in a New York hotel in 1989. Her body was discovered by a stranger four days after her death.

When interview subject Dorian Corey died in 1993, a mummified corpse was discovered in a trunk in her apartment. The body, which had been there for at least 20 years, was identified as Robert Worley (aka Robert Wells).

I adored PIB. Hilarious, frightening & sad all at the same time. RuPauls stole alot of her "schtick" from that wonderful film.
My favorite line in the film... "Hurrah for you!" He-he!
PIB is one of the most amazing documentaries ever. My favorite line is from Dorian Corey, who waxes philosophical about modern times: "Now it's not what you can create, it's what you can acquire." So true.
I loveloveloved this film.
