Cupcake Toppers!

Happy Tuesday!!! It's Melissa from M Miranda Creations and today I have some fun cupcake toppers to share!
These cupcake toppers were made for the wedding shower of a young man that has been one of my favorite people since he was about 5 years old. When I was asked to make them, I knew I would have something in my Jaded Blossom stash that would be perfect!

My friend let me know that the wedding colors are gold and pink so this is what I came up with. I used the Stitched Circle Dies and embossed on the circles either a heart from Heart Splatters or the "love you" sentiment from Cupid Airlines using gold Zing embossing powder. The scallop circle is a freebie from SVG Cuts. Below is a picture I was able to snap at the shower with my phone. Not the best picture, but still shows how cute they are!

Thanks for dropping in today!!!

Spring Greetings!

Hey, it is Melissa from M Miranda Creations sharing with you today.

I don't usually miss my old home in Roswell, NM too often; but when February rolls around and I think about how I could already be wearing flip flops down there, my heart begins to long for the warmer temperatures of that region. But here I am in February wondering when Easter is this year and still wearing my boots and a heavy jacket most days. So it only seems right to share a spring card as I dream of the warmer days.

And, of course, I have used lots of Jaded Blossom goodies to create it - Scallop Rectangle Dies 2, Rectangle Dies 2, Border Dies 2, Spring Dies 1 (Version 2), Spring Dies 2, and the new Easter Basket Fun stamp set.

My bunny is from Miss Kate Cuttables. The patterned paper is Doodlebug Design. I used a Versamark Watermark stamp pad and Whispers Embossing Powder to add the sentiment.

Hope you will stop by the Jaded Blossom store for more ideas and products as you begin to dream about spring this year!

Valentine Fox!

This is Melissa from M Miranda Creations and I'm so excited to be sharing my
card with you today. I just love this cute fox stamp!

It's from the Foxy stamp set. I also used the Rectangle Dies 1 and Rectangle Dies 2. And the sweet sentiment and little paw stamps are from Dog-Gone Awesome. I added some Doodlebug Sprinkles and the background paper is Recollections brand.

Can't wait to give this one away for Valentine's Day!

Stop by the Garden of Creativity for more ideas using the fun stamps and dies from Jaded Blossom.

Have a great Tuesday!

Blessings,

Beary Best Birthday!

Hey, it is Melissa sharing today, and I am so glad to be sharing
more fun projects with all of you this year!!

The other day, Candace and Michelle put out a sweet new set of stamps called G'day Mate! Congrats to all the December Challenge entries and the December Guest Designers on receiving this fun set and congrats to Jaded Blossom on their 5 year anniversary!

Well, I knew I wanted to use this sweet sentiment from the new stamps immediately and I just love how this card turned out.

I did go completely out of my comfort zone on this one. I hardly ever use ribbon on my projects because I think I'm not great with bows, And I especially never use wide ribbon, but I think it turned out just fine this time. LOL!

I also used the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2, Border Dies, and the Stitched Circle Dies.

The paper came from a sweet 6x6 paper pad that Candace and Michelle sent me for Christmas called Party Girl by Photoplay. Thanks, Chickies, for the fun envelope of goodies. I appreciate you both!

Have a great Tuesday!

Hello Deer!

Hey, everyone, it is Melissa from M Miranda Creations and it is my Tuesday to take over the blog.

Hope you all enjoyed your Halloween! I had some fantastic fun with my family!!!

Well, it is suppose to be 79 degrees today in my neck of the woods, but I am still thinking about snuggling up to a warm fire on Christmas Eve and hearing the patter of reindeer hooves on my roof!

I have used the Hello Deer stamps along with the Stitched Square Dies and Flag Dies to make this sweet set of cards!

Hope you enjoy today's project and hope you will share all your creations using Jaded Blossom goodies at the JB Garden of Creativity!

For more info on my cards, head over to my blog.

Autumn Greetings!

It's Melissa from M Miranda Creations and it's my day to take over the blog.

The calendar tells me that it is officially my favorite time of the year - Autumn. And the slight changes as some of the leaves on the trees begin to color confirms it. Now to get October rolling. Baseball playoffs, the beginning of basketball season, walks through the park enjoying the palette of colors, apple pies, pumpkin everything, and to cap the month off - Halloween! Nothing gets better than that!!!

So Autumn Greetings to all of you!!!

The Autumn Greetings and Give Thank sentiments are from the new Happy Fall stamp set from this month's release. I also used Jaded Blossom's Border Dies and Goody Bag Die. More details on my blog.

I hope you enjoy your day. Thank you for dropping by!

Hope you will share your creations with us in the Garden of Creativity!

Believe in Yourself!

Hey, it is Melissa from M Miranda Creations! It's my day to share and I'm excited about how this gift set turned out!!!

As an older woman, sometimes I think it is important to remind a young lady that no matter what she just needs to believe in herself!!! So that is what this set is about. It will be a gift set to let one special young lady know that I believe in her too!

I decided to make a card and gift box set. The box will be filled with chocolates. Yum!!! For the card, I used Card Mat Dies, Rectangle Dies 2, Bow Dies, Mini Tag Dies 2, and Encouragement.

The box was made from an SVG file from SVG Cuts called Simple Box. I reduced the size so that it would better hold some Ghirardelli Squares. I then used Bow Dies and Mini Tag Dies again - along with Chocoholic for the sentiment. The gray paper is from Co'ordinations and the black card stock is from Papertrey Ink. I added a few black embellishments as well.

So glad you stopped by to take a look!!!

Here is a close up of my card:

Thinking of You!

Hey, JB Friends!!!

It is Melissa from M Miranda Creations and today I am using some of my favorite dies from Jaded Blossom on my card.

I love the butterfly dies in the Spring Dies 2 set! So I paired them with the Rectangles Dies 1 and a sentiment from Simple Sayings to make this card.

The background paper is from Authentique's Seasons: Summer 6x6 paper pad. This is a beautiful set of papers. And this card would work with lots of different sentiments.

Thank you for stopping in and taking a look!

Mermaid to be Friends!

Happy Tuesday!
I hope you enjoyed your 4th of July holiday. I had a great time celebrating with my brother and his family! How many of you like to go and watch the big firework shows and who likes to just stay home? I love the fireworks, but I can't always get my hubby to go.

It is Melissa from M Miranda Creations here to share with you today. Today I have a sweet card for you using the new Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 and Rectangle Dies 1 and 2. I have also used Mermaid Kisses.

Now, I want you to know that you can use stamped images even if you don't have fancy markers. I have some EK Success and some Martha Stewart colored pencils and I used those to color the image. And, of course, these pencils don't allow all the fancy blending; but my dear friend who I am going to mail this card to will not mind a bit!!! I'm sure she will just be super excited that I have thought of her. The background paper is from Doodlebug Design.

Thanks for dropping by!

Grand Slam Birthday!

Hey, it is Melissa and today is my turn to be here on the Jaded Blossom Blog!!! Yay! I feel like I have been so out of touch with everyone with all the packing last month and my move a couple of weeks ago, but I am so super excited to be back home. Thanks to everyone who asked how things went!!! In honor of being back, I had to make this card for my DT project today!!!

I'm sure I have already mentioned this, but I really love the Sport Dies that came out this month. I also used the new Hey Batter stamp set and the Card Mat Dies on this card. I traced the Royals logo using my Cameo software. I've already been out to the ballpark since arriving home. We moved back here from Cleveland and the Royals were playing the Indians the night I went to the game. Too much fun - especially since my Royals won that night.

My son's birthday is Wednesday, but we will have to wait until next weekend to celebrate as he is at camp for the week. This will be my start to transforming him into a Royals fan. I am also working on my husband!!! Hope you like the card. It would be an awesome card to make with any team's logo to give to your favorite baseball fan!

Thanks for swinging by!!!

Black Widow

It's Tuesday!!! Yay! It's Melissa from M Miranda Creations and I get to share a project with you today using goodies from Jaded Blossom!

I was in Kansas City two weekends ago to see my niece graduate which was awesome and while I was there my brother, husband, and I took her to Planet Comicon! We had a great time and saw lots of incredible art of all our favorite super heroes and Anime. And seeing it all got me in the mood to make another Super Hero card. So this time I made a card with Black Widow.

For my card, I used Card Mat Dies and Super Hero!

Thanks for letting me share with you today!

You're a Star!

Hope you are enjoying your Tuesday!!! This is Melissa from M Miranda Creations

Today I have a simple card that would be a perfect baby card for a sweet boy! And I'm sure we could find other occasions for it too!

I used the Card Mat Dies and the Superstar stamp set. I also used the Card Front Overlay Stars and the Kawaii Starfish from SVG Cutting Files.

I cut out the background first with my Cameo and then put it through my Cuttlebug with the largest of the Card Mat Dies. I also die cut a piece of yellow cardstock. I then glued both layers together and attached them to the card base. I stamped my sentiment and arranged my stars from the Starfish file on the front attaching them with foam squares.

So glad you came by to have a look!

Hugs,

Dandelions!

It's Melissa from M Miranda Creations and today is my day to share.

I want to share some cards with you that are really simple to make with only a few basic supplies. Sometimes we just need something quick for unexpected occasions or for Just Because moments that will not last long. And sometimes we want to give a card to a friend who is not really into all the frills and such. These cards will work for all those occasion.

Here are my cards:

For all three of them, I used the Dandelions stamp set as my focal. I have been wanting to use this stamp set for awhile, so I am glad it worked so beautifully for these cards. I then found three different Jaded Blossom sentiments that would work with the image. The card bases are all A2 size and made with Papertrey Ink's Vintage Cream cardstock.

The sentiments come from Simple Sayings (With Sympathy), Hey Chickie (Thinking of You), and Encouragement (Sending You Lots of Encouragement).

I used a piece of designer paper from the Authentique 6x6 paper pad called Seasons: Summer. It is full of beautiful yellows and teals! The ink is Evergreen Bough Distress Ink. The panels stamped with the Dandelion images are 2.75 x 2.75". I placed the stamped panels in the same upper left hand corner of each card, but put my sentiments in varying places to give each a slightly different look. And the best part is that the only tools I used for this was my paper trimmer, my inking tool, and some scissors. Now for just a bit of added dimension, I did use craft foam under my panels to pop them off the card; but I don't think it would be necessary.

Another fun way to do it would be to mask off a square right on the paper and use inks to make a background and then add the Dandelion and sentiment. Then remove the mask and you have a completely one layer card.

Hope you have enjoyed today's project!!!

My Sunshine Layout

Hey, all! This is Melissa from M Miranda Creations and I have a spring layout to share.

I don't actually make a lot of layouts but I've actually been wanting to lately!

I used the Scallop Square Dies and Stitched Square Dies for my photo mats and the Butterflies stamp set for my butterfly accents. Here is a closer look to see the butterflies and the stitching on the photo mats. The mats will hold 4x4 photos and I think that is a perfect size for a one page layout.

I used the Girl on Swing and My Sunshine svg's from Treasure Box Designs for the rest. The patterned paper is from Doodlebug Designs.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget that we just started a new Under the Sea challenge this last Sunday right here on the Jaded Blossom blog.

Create Your Own Magic!!!

Happy Tuesday to you! I hope your day is magical!!!

It's Melissa from M Miranda Creations and it is my turn to share with you!!! So excited about today's layout using Unicorns and Glitter and Card Mat Dies!!!

Isn't this just too cute!!!

The cut files are from Treasure Box Design's Tots and Whatnots Magic file (except for the banner along the top). And the patterned papers are from Authentique.

I used the Unicorns and Glitter stamp set for the sentiment on the star and the Card Mat Dies for the top layer of the photo mat from the Jaded Blossom store. I may have went a tad white gel pen happy on his tux, but it came out super adorable anyway!!! Hope you will give this LO a try!!!

Don't forget to enter the March Monthly Challenge. And just think you can use any of those new stamps you just received in the mail from the March release. Yay!!!

Brown Paper Packages Tied Up with Strings...

Happy Tuesday! It's Melissa from M Miranda Creations and today is my day to share with you here on the blog.

I decided to use the new Special Packaging stamp set from the February Release.

I really like this sentiment and by pairing it with the Goody Bag Die, I have the perfect little brown gift bags to stick in a gift card and a few pieces of candy or some other fun treat. It would be perfect for PTA members to make for teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. Or maybe for co-workers with a cookie tucked inside. Wondering what you would use them for?

I took some 12x12 kraft cardstock and die cut three bags. After assembling, I punched two small holes at the top. I then cut three of the tags from the Treat Tag Die using metallic teal, pink, and purple cardstock. I cut the top layer using the kraft cardstock again and stamped the sentiment with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I attached the tags by threading two pieces of Trendy Twine through the holes on each bag, adding the tag, and tying them off with a bow.

So simple, but so much fun!!!

Bee Mine Gift Set

Hey!!! It is Melissa from M Miranda Creations and I am excited to be sharing another project with you today.

I am still in Valentine's Day mode and I love how today's project turned out! I hope you enjoy it too!

I made a matching card, treat box, and gift card holder all using lots of Jaded Blossom goodness and the adorable Stuffy Pals Bee SVG file from Treasure Box Designs.

For the gift card holder, I used the Folding Gift Card Die and decorated it with the Goody Bag Die Insert using a patterned paper from the Kraft in Color collection from Doodleug Design. I attached a border along the bottom from the Border Dies. I then used pop dots to attach my bee and added a sentiment from the Superstar stamp set using a masking technique. The sentiment was stamped to the acalloped circle die from Mini Tag Dies 2. I also used the Gift Card Die on the inside and slide a Starbucks gift card in there. (Make sure you cut the Gift Card Die on the inside before adding the decorative panel on the outside.)

For the card, I cut a card base at 4.25" square and then die cut the same patterned paper using the Stitched Square Dies. I added a wider border along the bottom of the card from the Border Dies and then used pop dots again for my bee. The sentiment here is from Simple Sayings Valentine Edition and was stamped on a banner from Mini Tag Dies 2. For the sentiment, I actually added an extra "e" to make Bee to fit the theme of my project.

And for the treat box, I used the Scallop Caddy Die with the same background paper. Again I added a border from the Border Dies. Added my bee with pop dots. I then used the Superstar stamp set again for the sentiment that I stamped onto another banner from Mini Tag Dies 2. I also cut an extra heart from the Stuffy Pals Bee file and attached it to the sentiment banner.

I just love the way the Jaded Blossom Dies and Stamps all work together to make super fun projects!

Please be sure to share all your Jaded Blossom projects in the JB Garden of Creativity FB group.
