The Cuban musician Gonzalo Rubalcaba will be in Sao Paulo for a single concert


The Cuban musician Gonzalo Rubalcaba comes to Sao Paulo for a single solo piano concert at Teatro Alfa, as part of the 3rd Mostra Tom Jobim Emesp.

Gonzalo has been nominated 14 times for a Grammy and won four of them. His power of improvisation at the piano is amazing. Currently he fights to approach the classical music to jazz.

The Sinfonia Rotterdam Orchestra comes to Brazil and starts its performances in Sao Paulo


Considered one of the best orchestras in the Netherlands, Sinfonia Rotterdam will perform on October 23 at 12h30 at the MASP in São Paulo. The orchestra will also be performing in other cities. Check it out:

Sinfonia Rotterdam

Bob Dylan will be in Sao Paulo very soon. Check it out!

Bob Dylan announced today that will come to Brazil in April. The musician will offer six concerts, through Sao Paulo (April 21 and 22), Rio de Janeiro (April 15), Belo Horizonte (April 19) Brasilia (April 17) and Porto Alegre (April 24).

The pre-sale to Rio and Sao Paulo begin on February 27, for customers of specific credit card brands. For the two capitals, the general sale starts on March 5. For other cities, the entries will be available to the public on February 27. Prices were not disclosed.

Madonna is coming to Brazil in November 2012

The new album "MDNA" has not even came out and Madonna declared that will come to Brazil. According to the newspaper Destak, the pop star will be here in November and Sao Paulo is certainly, one of her destinations (dates and locations will be determined soon).

The trip is part of the South American tour promoting the new CD. The tour also includes concerts in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Santiago (Chile) and Lima (Peru).

Madonna came to Brazil in December 2008 (when she met Jesus), during the world tour "Sticky and Sweet".

Mayer Hawthorne Concert at Cine Joia: February 2nd


With a retro look and songs with strong references to R&B, the American Mayer Hawthorne is back to Sao Paulo for a concert at the Cine Joia. The tour releases the new album that has Snoop Dogg as a partner in one of his songs.

K-pop arrives in Brazil for the first time


Twelve young Koreans arrived silent in the room of a hotel in Sao Paulo. No big deal if they were not stars across the world, landed for the first time in Brazil.

The singers and performers of the bands: Beast, the singer 4Minute G.na came to represent the K-pop in Latin America, a musical style with great reference in the western pop mega produced, but with a different twist in the lyrics.

This Korean Pop is a strong success in this Asian country, mixing R&B and hip hop dance beats, as evidenced by sophisticated choreography, registered in viral video clips on the internet.

Aerosmith's Steve Tyler performs in Sao Paulo during a heavy rain after his shower fall in Paraguay

The single concert of Aerosmith in Sao Paulo was at Arena Anhembi, under a heavy rain. Steven Tyler and his band, is in Latin America with the tour "Back On The Road Tour".

The rain was not a problem for the members of Aerosmith and the approximately 32 000 people that attended the show held last Sunday evening (October 30th).

Steven Tyler jumped and sang during 2 hours wearing the same clothes, played drummer, danced with an inflatable doll on stage by the fans during a bloody heavy rian and did not let the bruises - from the injuries he was left with after the accident in Paraguay - to take away his energy.

Concert of Aerosmith in Sao Paulo will be at Arena Anhembi on October 30th


Aerosmith will be at Arena Anhembi on October 30th in São Paulo. The quintet led by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry promises a mega concert to an estimated 35 thousand people. Tickets are now on sale.

In a single presentation in Brazil, the tour also passed through several countries in Latin America and Japan, mixing classic blues rock of the 70s and songs of their latest albums.

Aerosmith is the American rock band that sold over 150 million albums worldwide. The band has already released 14 albums, plus four Grammy Awards and a spot at the Rock'n Roll Walk of Fame since 2001.

One more day of Justin Bieber in Sao Paulo!

Justin Bieber will be one more day in São Paulo on the Z Festival. The singer will have a new concert in October 9th. According to the organizers, the brand new day will repeat the previous concert of October 8, with attractions such as Cobra Starship, The Wanted and Cine.

The VIP tickets for the Britney Spears concert in São Paulo are sold out. There are still tickets on sale


The singer will perform in Sao Paulo on November 18. The premium tickets started to be sold at midnight this Monday August 29th. But no worries, Britney fans can still purchase tickets to the track, which cost R$ 225.

She also performs in Rio de Janeiro, on November 15, at the Praça da Apoteose.

Britney Spears is bringing the tour her latest album: Femme Fatale. Hits of her career should also be included on the concert. Her last visit to Brazil was in 2001.

The Canadian singer Justin Bieber will be in Brazil for three concerts in October.

Bieber began his Brazilian tour in Rio de Janeiro (Engenhão Stadium) on October 5. Then comes to São Paulo (Morumbi Stadium) on the October 8 and ends in Porto Alegre (Beira Rio Stadium) on October 10.

In São Paulo, the presentations are part of the Z Festival and will also have attractions such as Cobra Starship, The Wanted and Cine.

Tickets for the concerts go on sale in Sao Paulo on August 26, in Rio de Janeiro on 30 and Porto Alegre on September 1.

Pearl Jam comes to Brazil in November and begins its tour in Sao Paulo


Pearl Jam will perform in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and Porto Alegre in November. The band performed in Brazil for the first time in 2005.

The American grunge band comes first to São Paulo, with a concert on November 4th at the Estadio do Morumbi. Rio comes next, on November 6th, at the Praça da Apoteose. Curitiba, will be on November 9th, at the Paraná Clube Stadium and on November 11th, at Estádio Zequinha in Porto Alegre.
Tickets go on sale on August 1st through the Tickets For Fun website (prices vary from state to state).
Pearl Jam is on a world tour in celebration of their 20 year career. The group is also preparing a documentary about their story. They are also launching a two-disc live compilation to celebrate the date. During the tour, the lead singer, Eddie Vedder, will be promoting his solo album, entitled Ukulele Songs.

Limp Bizkit confirms concert in São Paulo: July 26


The band Limp Bizkit has confirmed via its official website two concerts in Brazil in July. Last October, the group canceled presentations in Sao Paulo and Belo Horizonte. According to them, the singer Fred Durst was sick.

The tour is to promote the new album Gold Cobra, which remarks the meeting of the original members, including the acclaimed and always weirdo guitarist Wes Borland.

On July 23, the band performs at Fundição Progresso, in Rio de Janeiro. In Sao Paulo, fans can see Limp Bizkit at Via Funchal, on July 26. Following the recent trend of international shows in the country, the bleachers will be divided into two sectors: normal and VIP. Check out the prices.

The BMW Jazz Festival in Sao Paulo

The BMW Jazz Festival in Sao Paulo is close. The four main attractions of the event - Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Wayne Shorter, Joshua Redman and Marcus Miller - will perform in Sao Paulo between 10 and 12 June at the Ibirapuera Auditorium.
