Leading US plush supplier The Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Company (BHTB) has confirmed Character Options as the distributor of the nostalgic and gritty WereBears brand, which is due to relaunch this autumn in the UK and Eire.

The WereBears series of teddy bears was originally released in the United Kingdom in 1983. Philanthropist, author and cartoonist George Nicholas created them so that boys could embrace the teddy bears culture without the worry of teasing. 42 years on, the original characters that have both soft and sinister sides will appeal to both boys and girls with their wacky personalities.

Championing WereBears’ resurgence and with demand for 80s toy brands never being higher, Midco Toys’ David Middleton decided it was time to bring WereBears back to life and, together with Intertoy, encouraged the partnership between BHTB and Character Options.

Toy Fair 2023: Dance, Dance, Dance With Your NECA Wednesday Dolls

Today NECA announced a full line of action figures, plush and collectibles to be released in partnership with MGM’s series Wednesday, streaming exclusively on Netflix. Directed by Tim Burton, the first season of the gothic mystery series follows Wednesday Addams as she enters Nevermore Academy. Mattel, Nickelodeon and Paramount+ Debut Trailer for Monster High 2

Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAT), Nickelodeon and Paramount+ today revealed the trailer and premiere date for Monster High 2, the sequel to the live-action movie musical based on the iconic Monster High franchise about the children of famous monsters and creatures. Monster High 2 will be available to stream in the U.S. on Paramount+ Thursday, October 5, and premiere on Nickelodeon that same day at 7 p.m. (ET/PT), with encores every weekend in October as part of the Monster Movie Madness stunt. The movie will also premiere later in the month on Paramount+ in select international markets where the service is available, with other international territories premiere dates to be announced later this year.

Monster High 2 follows Clawdeen Wolf (Miia Harris), Draculaura (Nayah Damasen) and Frankie Stein (Ceci Balagot) as they enter sophomore year at Monster High.
