    I tried this recipe followed it exactly and and was disappointing, it tasted awful nothing at all like the red chicken sauce, it tasted like watered down ketchup with sugar

    Add corn starch to keep it from sticking together and dont add the extra coating of flour then add some garlic salt for a better taste and do not cook the chicken before battering, batter it raw and throw it in the deep fryer until it has a nice brown color to it but first heat the oil to high then before throwing in the balls move the heat to medium to cook well

    Wow, this was so good and so easy. I had Shrimp Fra Diavolo in a restaurant many years ago and they used those little salad shrimp. This was so much better. I will definitely be making this again. Added my picture, too. Posted it in IMI

    Hi there! TVP is textured vegetable protein, a fat free, pretty much tasteless dry meal made of soy. Bob's Red Mill is a popular brand (and the one I use), though it is also available in bulk at many health and bulk stores. Hope that helps!
