Mississippi Mud Cake

- cake shopping list
- 2 sticks butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder shopping list
- 2 cup sugar shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 2 cup flour shopping list
- dash salt shopping list
- 2 tea pure vanilla shopping list
- bag miniature marshmallows shopping list
- frosting shopping list
- 1 box powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder shopping list
- 1 stick butter softened shopping list
- 1 tea pure vanilla shopping list
- 4T milk or enough for desired consistency shopping list
- 1 cup chopped toasted pecans-optional shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven 350* 13x9 pan sprayed with cooking spray
- In small saucepan melt butter with cocoa powder, remove from heat. In mixing bowl beat eggs with sugar, add in flour,salt , chocolate mixture. Be sure to mix well then add vanilla. Pour into prepared pan and bake 35-40 minutes until done. Top hot cake with marshmallows; allow to melt slightly.
- Sift powdered sugar and cocoa together; add slowly to mixing well with butter; add milk tablespoon at a time until desired consistency. Stir in nuts and frost cake while still warm.
