Applesauce Granola Cookies

A delicately crunchy cookie. Betty Crocker's Best Of Baking.
Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup shortening shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/2 cup applesauce shopping list
- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 cups Granola shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix brown sugar, shortening, vanilla and egg in a large bowl.
- Stir in applesauce.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until almost no indentation remains when touched in the center.
- Cool slighlty; remove from cookie sheet.
