Orange Kiss Me Cake

Recipe from the Woman's Guild cookbook, Fairbanks, Alaska. Early 70's. Another fun title.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup thawed, frozen orange juice concentrate (use a 6-oz. can) shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp. soda shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 cup nut meats shopping list
- 1 cup dates, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup thawed, frozen orange juice concentrate shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients except dates and nuts in a large bowl, beat for 3 minutes at high speed.
- Stir in dates and nuts.
- Pour into a greased and floured 9x13-inch pan.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes.
- Remove from oven, while hot drizzle with the orange juice concentrate.
- Combine the sugar and cinnamon, and walnuts and sprinkle on cake.
